Name: Lisette Nash Age: 22 Magical Ability Wanted: Time Jumper Why do you want it?: Time has always alluded Lisette. It had confused her and made her think far more than she wanted to. Time was something that made her feel restricted. She wanted to know if the rules of time could be broken. And, since it started happening to her without her choice, she wanted to approve it to the best of her ability. What you went through to learn it: It all started when Lisette was six. She used to get this awful headaches; migraines almost. They would start at the base of her neck and increase to the point where Lisette had to lie down for hours at a time biting on a warm washcloth. When she had the headaches, she would find that her eyes would drift close and she would be in a different place. The first place she had been was a park. She'd been to the park before, but it was different. The numbers on the signs were off. And, there was a mother and little girl that looked suspiciously like Sydni and her mom, but younger. Lisette just passed it off as her dreaming. The headaches happened maybe two or three times a year at the most. She was drift off, or think she was drifting off, and go to a different place. One time when she was thirteen, it was the year 3010. Another, when she was fifteen, it was America during the 50's. She just supposed the dreams were reflections of her interest in history. But, when she "woke up" she would "wake up" at the same time she fell asleep. She didn't realize that until it happened in mid conversation with her mum. One minute, she heard her mother beginning to say the word "the" and after her what seemed to be three day adventure, she would wake up at the precise time she was saying "the". Only when Lisette got older, did she realize that it wasn't just dreams. When she was nineteen, she had gone on another trip. This time, it was the seventies. And, she was given a necklace by a man. Lisette, being kind and thinking it was still a dream, put the necklace on. And, when the "dream" was over, Lisette was just a little shocked to find that it was still around her neck. That's when Lisette began looking into time travel. She studied it religiously, not wanting to believe that she could be able to do this, but finding it hard to discredit. One day during her research, she had stumbled across the term "time jumper". A time jumper is a person who can, evidently, jump through time. The past and the future. Thinking that that could be the only explanation, Lisette looked more into Time Jumping. Non-fiction and fiction. Finding an author of one non-fiction book about time jumping, Lisette requested a meeting. The author who wrote it was also what Lisette believed to be a time jumper. The author's experiences matched Lisette's perfectly. And, the author began teaching Lisette to control it. Lisette met this author when she was twenty. She'd been working with this author for two years now, and she had only managed to master the basic; stopping from jumping without choice, jumping into the future, and jumping back with she wanted. It took Lisette a long time and a lot of work, but she finally managed to master it. Though, she's only done it a few times, Lisette can control when she jumps, though it still gives her a headache and a unsettled stomach when she does it. Lisette has told no one of her ability, since there was no need to. She could just blame the headache on something she was born with- which wasn't false. And, she always returned at the exact second she had left. And, she doesn't plan on telling anyone, so they don't worry about her.
(And, evidently, I'd like to get rid of her having the ability of Occlumens)

Name: Astrid Lancaster Age: 25 Magical Ability Wanted: Occlumens Why do you want it?: To protect all she knows and her loyalty to the Guardians What you went through to learn it:
"Harder Astrid, come on. It was too easy for me this time. You're weak!" Her mentor spat, disdain heavy in his voice. Astrid didn't dare look up, she hated to see dissapointment directed at her. They had been trying for months now, but if anything she was getting worse at protecting her thoughts, had she always been this emotional?
"I'm not weak." She defended her voice tight. "Just maybe if I could have one moment, a quick time out I'd be able to-"
"A time out?" His voice was icy, and Astrid had to fight the urge to wince. "Sure. And while I'm at it would you like a back rub and a hot bath?" Astrid scowled, why was this so difficult? The question was redundant, she knew why. He was making her work for it, knew exactly which memories to go for. God, she was weak. It was pathetic, and the feeling unsettled her greatly. Reaching a hand up Astrid wiped the sweat from her brow, her mouth a grim line, jaw set.
"Again." She said simply, steeling her self, catching only his cruel grin as he muttered the words again. Legilimens. "No". She whimpered as the far to familiar feelings of rejection and desertion returned again. She had convinced herself for so long that her parents abandonment meant nothing, but since she'd learnt of their deaths... Astrid whimpered again. He was relentless, probing further, one horrid memory after another. Cold sweats broke out over Astrid body, beads of perspiration soaking her clothes through as silent sobs wracked her body. She pushed against him, the dark wisps of his magic foreign and unpleasant inside her mind. He was an unwelcome presence and her mind or her magic could take no more. They had left her. Twice. Once by choice, the second by force. Those were the facts as she knew them and nothing could change that. The last of the Lancasters. She was powerful and detatched.
Astrid blinked upwards, the swinging glimmer of the overhead light momentarily blinding her. Her mind was clear. Focused, though on what she did not know. She could still feel the fingers of his magic grasping out, desperate for another delicious slice of her pain. She would not be hospitable. Astrid held her resolve, face blank, perhaps the barest curve of a smile on her lips and waited for his magic to retreat.
"Well that took you long enough. Shower and rest, we'll go again tomorrow evening. I can't have this be a fluke. Goodnight."
Astrid stood up without complaint, or word of farewell and exited the dingy room, she was tired, much to tired for some snappy retort, and the siren call of a shower and a bed was much to overpowering. She would prove to him tomorrow that it was not a one off, she was not weak. Climbing the stairs she allowed herself a little grin of achievement, and then sloped into the bathroom, the shower switching on automatically, the room filling with steam.
