Why: Adeline grew up as a pureblood Death Eater child in which she saw there were things done. She's seen countless of people and creatures, whether they be a muggleborn or not, mauled, killed and tortured when they didn't side with Abigail. As a kid it added a sense of duty to her in which she wants to make sure no one has to be treated that way again.

Why: Cas had the idea of blood supremacy drilled into his head since he was a very young boy. Thankfully, when he was old enough he was able to see through these stupid ideals and looked on in disgust as his father tortured and killed muggle after muggle in search of revenge for his mother's death. The looks on their faces are burned into his brain and that, along with his mother's death, is what urges him to help people as much as he can.
Skills: Six years of training to be a healer, and a compassionate heart. Very good with defensive magic.
Weaknesses: Cas is what he is; a healer. He can protect himself well enough when being attacked with magic, but is not very good at using his actual body to defend himself, especially against larger or better skilled fighters.

Why: Brooklyn is a wiz at potions (no pun intended).  She has worked hard to make potions her lifes work and has done so in the past five years and worked to become the potions professor at Hogwarts. That and she never took kindly to the pureblood supremacy, nor is she too keen on allowing Abigail to win a war for the sake of power.
Skills: Excelled in potions, and a highly proficient dueler, and incredibly loyal
Weaknesses: Arrogant sometimes, selfish, inappropriate on occasion.
