Personality

Jax has a very fierce personality that is sometimes hard to get used to. She has good intentions (in her mind) and believes in nurturing the youth of the wizarding world. She's confident and easy to offend, which is something people should watch out for. Pissing her off is unwise. Strong-willed, persistent, loyal to a fault, gets the job done, and doesn’t accept failure on her part.

History

Jacquelyn was born and raised within the rather large Sinclair family; much of the extended family lived near to them during her childhood. She's eight years older than her sister, Alexandra, and is - now - the head of the family. With her mother's mental health rapidly deteriorating in St. Mungo's and her father being dead, she's the youngest head the Sinclair's have ever had and the only woman at that. The family elders have ushered in this change with pride, acknowledging that she would run the family far better than her father had.

Phineas Sinclair was a sick man and it had surprised no one that his end would come at the hands of his eldest daughter, not out of a desire to usurp his position or out of some other greed, but out of revenge. During her childhood, Jax faced many kinds of abuse at the hands of her father; he'd beaten her mercilessly, locked her in cages and other small spaces, and subjected her to many other horrors. Marona, unwilling to take the matter to the elders for fear that her daughter would be taken from her, remained silent and said nothing of the abuse her daughter suffered.

For years this happened, until the blessed day that Jacquelyn went off to school, leaving her kid sister behind. Jax wrote to her sister weekly and did her best to ensure that the girl didn't come to the same harms she'd been subjected to, but to no avail. When she came of age, her father subjected her to a... more adult form of abuse. This caused Marona to have a psychological break that caused her to violently attack Phineas in an attempt to finally do what she should have done years ago, but the damage was done.

At the age of 17, Jax became the legal guardian of her kid sister and vowed from that day forward that no one would ever harm her or her sister again. She devoted her life to protecting her sister and other children she came in contact with, nurturing them and assuring them that they were the bright future of the wizarding world. Raising her sister was no easy task, but the two girls managed to do just fine.

Time went on and while the wizarding world seemed on the bring of another war, Jacquelyn had decided that enough was enough. While one manic fought for total control, another fought to rid the world of the threat, and in between them both were children just waiting to be harmed and taken advantage of. She wasn't having it; Jax dreamed of a world where these children would be protected and nurtured to bring about the bright future they would surely bring.

Swiftly and quietly, she began to spread the word, to gather support and followers to rally her cause. She gained momentum quicker than she thought she would, but things went awry when Hogwarts was attacked and the Headmistress was forced to cent students home for the first time in a great long while. It was time. Time to emerge from the shadows and guard these precious little ones and the knowledge being passed down to them.
