History

It is a mystery in which where Brooklyn truly came from. She had never known he parents and had bounced from several foster homes from months after her birth. There were more than four homes she had stayed in, but those four were the ones that had impact. Jaiden and Marie had been her first family. Sweet and nice and homely and treated the newly born Brooklyn as family. At least until the unexplained ability of her hair changing colors freaked them out. It was from then on did she find it difficult to find a home.

Sometimes it would take months before she was shipped off to another family, sometimes less. Nicki had been a rare one in the many that had picked her up when she was bout nine. One of the only ones who didn't find her ability all that freaky or scary. In fact, to this day the woman had been her favorite. At least that was until she passed away from cancer. Something of which played a vital role in her courses at Hogwarts. Veronica and Jason had been the family to take he in right before she found out about being a wizard and had been accepted to attend Hogwarts for the next year. She had only been with them for a few weeks, but they has certainly shown their colors. The moment they got their hands on her, they began using her as a means for money. Trying to forced her into using her ability. Suffice it to say that Jason lost his life playing with dangerous fire.

Thankfully, though, after her first year, she had made friends with a sweet girl and her family had taken her in and since then she has stayed with them. At least all the way up until she started attending uni and since claiming a job as the potions professor and having gotten married.
