It was not Victoria's fault that he wand was now broken into millions of pieces. She was sitting at home, reading a book, when her cousin decided that it was about time he pulled a prank on her. Of course, Victoria had no idea of his plan, and was not prepared. And how could she know? Her cousin was older than her, a charming man, if she had to say, but he was as evil as her, which made it so difficult to predict his next move. Especially, when it involved her.
He was the only person she actually got along with, and that was why she could not have thought of such a move on her. Though once it happened, there was no way back. She had heard a noise, but she didn't pay attention to it, since it was a big, busy house. The whole family lived here, so it was full with people doing all kinds of things. A noise meant nothing.
Going back to her book, she forgot all about the noise, when her window opened abruptly, followed by her door. That was when she understood that something was going on. Something that was not good.
Growling, she put her book aside carefully and grabbed her wand, getting up and walking out of her room, and down the hall. What was going on? Hadn't someone else heard it? As she was walking, she felt movement, and as soon as she turned around, there was a curse coming her way. She tried to use Protego but the spell was too powerful. She fell down groaning, and next to her was her wand, turned into ash.
And that was why she was in that same shop again, ready for another wand. Once she had her new wand in her hand, revenge would be the only thing she will be planning. |

| "It was great to see you! I believe we've fixed the problem so you shouldn't see any more random fireworks in the future. If the problem persists though just send me a letter and I'll make a home visit. I know how busy you are," she called out to her lastest customer with a wave of her hand. It was a lovey woman that had been a good friend of her mother's and she had been kind enough to remain in touch all these years. The woman was practically like family and there was no way that she would allow her to carry around a defective wand if she could help it.
As she was turning away from the door she noticed a young girl standing in front of it. Rowena wondered how she had missed her entrance, but she had deduced that she had probably been too busy waving the others off. Not the best way to show a customer they were welcome, so she would just have to rectify the situation. "Hello, I'm Rowena Ollivander, how can I help you?" she asked kindly as she leaned her elbows against the counter, her fingers tracing the smooth surface of the wood absently.
Rowena took a moment to study the girl as she waited for her response. Young, if she looked her age and angry. That was the most obvious thing about the girl. She was very upset about something and if she were to guess it most likely had to deal with her wand. |
