Personality

Violet Marie Dante is forgettable to her parents, forgettable by her family (the exception being Alyxander) and forgettable to the world around her. She often slips by unnoticed, being the mistake that her parents hadn't wanted to have on her hands. In result of that, she's shy and hard to engage a conversation with, often hiding behind her thick brown hair. She has a temper when riled, only ever showing strong emotion when she feels threatened. Violet would rather keep to herself than to talk to anyone else, though she's trustworthy and sweet as they come, be careful with her; she is capable of dark magic and hides it as much as she can. She's the youngest of four; Cassidy , Alyxander, and Draven all her parents favorites, her being the disliked one.

History

Violet had grown up unloved by her parents and her siblings included, leaving Violet to fend for herself more times than not. She had always been allowed to live inside of Dante Manor but always threatened to be kicked out if she ever stepped a toe out of line. Alyxander had always taken pity of her and tried to make her feel loved within the family, often showing her affection that no one else would. He died when Violet with fifteen and no one knows why or how. Draven had always gotten along with her fairly well and Violet and Draven's relationship had always been strong, but not, stronger than her and Alyx's. Her father had admitted how disappointed he was in her as a daughter days before her starting school, and Violet had understood how little she meant in the family. The only thing stopping her from leaving is her blood purity, knowing that she couldn't run anywhere else on account of it reflecting badly on the Dante name. As much as she dislikes her family, pride is everything with them and she has to stay for that reason.  

Acceptance Letter Response

Violet had awoken just like every other day, this time on her eleventh birthday. It was nothing special of the morning routine; she had awoken to her house elf Tinkers calling her down for breakfast. Sitting down on the table, her mother hardly gave her a second look over the mornings Prophet. Tinkers slid on Violet's place of the table a plate of ham and eggs, sloppily writing out 'happy birthday' and bowing to her, shuffling out of the way to make Mistress's breakfast.

Alyxander appeared, kissing the top of his sisters head and handing her a letter. "Happy birthday Lettie," He greeted cheerfully, followed by a glare from their mother. "A letter addressed to you." He also had another present for her that he held in his hands, excited eyes looking to the letter addressed to miss Violet Dante, the second room upstairs on the left. With shaky hands, Violet recognized the letter at once. She had seen Clarissa get one, then Alyxander, then Draven, and finally herself.

It was about time she could leave and experience the world for herself, and Violet jumped up at once and hugged her brother, breakfast left aside. "Will you take me shopping?" Violet asked at once, list of supplies ready in her hand. "Of course," The older wizard replied carelessly, throwing an arm around her shoulder. "After we eat, yeah?" It was starting to be a memorable day for Violet Dante.
