Denise had had a really bad accident a couple nights ago. She had seen herself involved in a massive attack in a muggle street. Two groups of stupid muggle douchebags had gotten themselves into a public fight that ended up with Denise falling onto the street and breaking her own wand with the weight of her body. Fortunately nothing worse had happened, but the woman was pretty upset at everything, and that morning she was almost running to Ollivander's to get a new one, she needed it urgently, not only for her job, but to be an active part of the Order.

Her heals crinkled over the street stones and her face was contracted in an upset way. Nothing seemed to be going right on her life those days. Finally she got to the store and opened the door slightly angrily, snorting at the bell ringing as she got in.

"Morning. I need a wand" she mused as she got closer to the shopkeeper

Rowena leaned her cheek heavily against her right palm as her left absently drew circles along the smooth surface of one of her many work benches. She was exhausted and couldn't wait for the day to be over so she could go home and slip into her warms blankets for a blissful night of sleep. Except she still had hours before she closed so she was resting lazily as she watched the door for any customers that might arrive. The fact that she had been uninterrupted for two hours had only made things worse as she felt her eyes start to droop since she had nothing to distract her form her sleep deprivation.

When the door opened with a sharp whoosh she jolted up and smiled almost lazily, not her most professional moment. Rowena patted her cheek softly before straightening her back to get a better look at the woman that had (thankfully) entered her shop before she had fallen asleep right there on her desk. "Morning," she murmured back with a warmer smile, thought internally she was wishing that it wasn't still morning. "I'm sure I can help with that, Ms. Harrison," she continued as she drew the woman's information closer for her to see.

After a few minutes of glancing down at the parchment and looking at the woman across from her she finally stood up, brushed her skirt down into place and slipped on her flats. Rowena knew she was moving slower than she normally did, but with how tired she was feeling she just couldn't muster up enough energy to put the usual pep in her step. "I think I have just the wand for you, if you'll just give me a moment I'll be right back," she promised with a firm nod before turning her attention back to the shelves she had by the window. After a quick perusal, her fingers tapping gently along the boxes she didn't want she found the one she had been looking for.

"Here we are," she mumbled softly to herself in triumph as she swirled around and started back to the counter, moving a bit faster since the woman had seemed to be in a bit of a rush when she had first arrived. With a sheepish smile she set the box down and watched the woman expectantly. "Go on and try it out," she offered as she flipped open the lid and settled back into her seat.

Denise waited as the woman studied her and then she left to look for the adecuate wand for her. She was in desperate need of it and her mood wasn't the best, but she knew she couldn't do anything else, or make the woman work faster, so second by second she just started to get bored, and a yawn crossed her mouth dramatically as Miss Ollivander was coming back with a new wand for her.

For God's Sake she hoped it would be the one, that it chose her, she really didn't want to stay more time there doing nothing. Not too surely she took the wand and inmediately she felt the known warmth; she was almost 100% sure that would be her wand. She took a few seconds to look at it and study it, it was really beautiful, and when she waved it a ton of small cute birds came out of it and a smile crossed Denises face.

"Oh wow, you did a great job" she mused smiling happily.

Everything seemed to happen quickly, it was one of the fastest visits Rowena had ever had with a customer, not that she was complaining. As soon as Denise Harrison left she decided she was going to close for a few hours and get some much needed rest. One of the benefits of being her own boss was that she could make her own decisions on shop hours. She didn't normally make decisions that closed her shop as she preferred to be a more reliable source than one that randomly closed, but she was too tired to care on that particular day.

"I did nothing," she laughed softly, shaking her head as she started getting everything ready to go. "I'm just the go between," she replied with a warm smile before setting everything up in front of the woman. "Here you go, I believe that's everything. So unless there is something else I can help you with you're free to go," Rowena explained before gently tapping her finger against the slip of parchment with the wand type. "Have a good day!"
