Embarrassed, Clayton made his way into the wand shop. His feet dragged across the floor as he walked up to the counter. Looking up, he looked at a feminine figure and half smiled before clearing his voice,"Erm, sorry to disturb you. I have a slight problem." He confessed and ran a hand through his hair.

"I kind of may have dropped it while I was carrying some of my possessions back to my loft. Unfortunately, I stepped on it and it has cracked down the side. I wasn't sure if you could fix it or not but I knew that it was unsafe to continue the use of this wand." Clayton said and kept quiet. Reaching into his pocket, he took out his wand and laid it out on the counter.

Rowena's back was turned and her spectacles were placed precariously atop her nose as she examined a wand one of her customers had dropped off. It was an elder woman's who spent most of her time at home so she didn't use it quite as often as most people. It was the only way Rowena had been able to convince the woman to allow her to have more time to see what was wrong.

She had prepared a few tests, but she had yet to find out the actual problem. The wand was perfectly pristine so the woman obviously took very good care of her wand, but for some reason it's magic would sort of spurt out with a vengeance. As the woman had explained she didn't seem to have any control over how powerful or work her spells turned out. An testing out the wand herself was not something she had been eager to do in her shop. So she had to wait til she got off, but until then she couldn't seem to keep her hands off it for longer than a few minutes.

As she was so immersed in her work she never heard the door chime go off. (So why she had it she will never know). It was only after someone cleared their voice that she turned around in surprise, her spectacles went flying off her face and she reached frantically to grab them before they fell down. "Sorry," she mumbled with a blush as she had had a rather embarrassing episode while he was obviously embarrassed himself.

"You're not disturbing me," she quickly explained, waving off his apology as she reached behind her to gently and subtly set her spectacles on the back table and scooted her chair forward to give him her undivided attention. "What seems to be the problem?" she asked, but only moments after he began to explain. Rowena listened carefully, not wanting to come off any more unprofessional than she already had with her flailing person and flying glasses. "Well I won't know until I take a look.. May I?" she asked with a gesture to wand he just set on the counter.
