Personality

Damon is a generally good person who is incredibly loyal. He cares very much for his family and friends and would do anything that he could for them. He has a temper that take a long time to burst, but when it does he either needs to beat someone or a bottle of straight fire whiskey.

QUIRKS:
• Can’t sit still - Damon gets bored pretty easily, so a compelling conversation is definitely a must.
• Punctual - The idea of being late makes Damon feel sick. He is almost always at least half an hour early for everything.
LIKES:
• Vegetables - Damon loves vegetables and everything healthy.
• Cooking - He loves to cook good, honest food and will make an attempt and anything once.
• Italian Food - His favourite kind of take away is Italian. Pasta, lasagna, ravioli - Damon loves it all.
• Alone Time - While Damon is definitely not a recluse, the does value time alone when he gets the chance. Being around people too much for too long can make him go a little crazy.
DISLIKES:
• Loud music - Damon’s father is deaf due to being exposed to extremely loud music as a child, so he is very conscious of ear health.
• Too much sugar - Something sweet every now and then is nice, but Damon cannot stand anything that has a lot of sugar.
• Death Eaters - Damon despises people who make judgements on others without giving them a chance, and hates it when people are attacked purely for something that they cannot control.
STRENGTHS:
• Sign Language - Damon can ‘speak’ sign language fluently as he grew up due to his father being deaf.
• Dueling - He always excelled in dueling in school, and his talent has yet to decline.
• Defence Against the Dark Arts - Damon receive an ‘O’ for his N.E.W.Ts exams in Defence Against the Dark Arts, and hopes to pursue a career around it.
WEAKNESSES:
• Temper - While usually a calm and kind person, Damon can snap when he is pushed hard enough, but only if it’s personal (like involving the people he loves).
• His family - His family is the world to him. This included both is birth family and the family that he has collected over the years.
• Stubborn - In true Gryffindor fashion, Damon is very stubborn. Once he has set his mind to something, he will always follow through or fall down trying.

PATRONUS: When Damon was young, on New Years Eve, he, his parents, and siblings would apparate to London and watch the fireworks.
BOGGART: The world coming to an end with everybody that he loves in it.
DEMENTOR: The summer that his parents divorced.

History

Damon Eldridge was born on a windy morning to his pureblood parents. Despite Michelle and Paul making respectable marriages, they had distanced themselves from the pureblood enigma and even send their sons to a muggle primary school before they began at Hogwarts. Damon was sorted into Gryffindor, despite his want to join his older brother in Slytherin.

When he left Hogwarts, he travelled for a few years in more countries that he could count on both hands and he enjoyed every minute of it. His best friend that he’d left with ended up meeting a woman somewhere is Rome, so he finished his tour alone. He then did a year of education with the Canadian Auror office as a trainee. Now that he has returned to the UK, Damon desperately hopes to acquire a job as an Auror and eventually settle down into a new life.
