Oh bloody hell. She cursed inwardly at the fact that her trusted wand had been purposely snapped in half by such an irate customer in her shop. It wasn't her fault that a ritual that the customer conducted had backfired on him leaving a nasty scar that ran diagonally across his face. Natasha wasn't particularly sure which ritual he used from the book he bought from her but in any case, it must have been something dangerous enough to cause the disfigurement on his face. The first mistake she unfortunately made was leaving her wand on the desk and her walking past it without any suspicion of him trying anything. She should have immediately put it back onto the holster where it would have been safe and sound, away from it being snapped. It didn't help that the man had come at a time when she just had a few drinks and thus, less observant than usual and ended in him quickly snapping her wand in anger and running out of the store. She frowned knowing that her grandfather would not be pleased that happened in their own store.

A woman at the bar she was talking to had recommended going to the Ollivanders shop to buy a new wand since they were the best but she had her doubts. Hearing that the store was the best wasn't good enough for her. She had to find out from other people who bought wands from there but she didn't have a lot of time to do all that. Natasha needed a new wand now especially that she was potentially in danger on a daily basis doing business with many suspicious witches and wizards. She learned her lesson and would be sure to be careful the next time. It was very different walking in Diagon Ally than Knockturn and it made her feel uncomfortable seeing people look so carefree and happy. Natasha was so used to the dreariness and dark alleyways that when she first came out after working for a long time, the light stung her eyes as weird as that sounded. Taking a deep breath and fixing up her dress, she swiftly walked inside the shop and looked for someone to help her. She called out, "Anyone in here? I need a new wand" hoping that this place was as great as it's reputation.

As summer was nearing it's end she was getting a bit more time to herself to clean and just deal with daily upkeep. An considering how little time she had had she planned to take full advantage of the fact. Which was why Rowena was over six feet off the ground and rearranging and cleaning some of the older wand boxes. She had been elbows deep in dust since that morning, but she could barely tell as she softly sang along with the wireless on the floor. It was soft enough so she could hear if a customer needed her assistance, but the tinkling chime had not gone off the entire day.

"An I.." she sung, trailing off when the ladder shook when she moved back sharply as a spider popped out of no where. Rowena had instantly frozen before placing her palms against the top to steady herself. "Well hello there, you gave me quite a scare," she muttered to the tiny spider as it shuffled back into it's hiding place behind some of the boxes. It was just her luck to almost fall to her death because some spider, the size of her pinky, pops up out the stacks.

Rowena rolled her eyes at how accident prone she was sometimes before slowly easing forward to start wiping things down again. An after a few minutes of nothing more exciting happening she grew bored once more, but as luck would have it that was the exact moment someone entered her shop. She turned her head back to see an attractive woman step inside. "I'll be right with you!" she called before turning back around and starting down the ladder. She managed to almost slip once, but found her way to the ground mostly unharmed before heading for the counter.

"Hello, I'm Rowena. What can I help you with today?" she asked as she smoothed down the skirt of her dress before stepping completely behind the counter and drawing the parchment toward her to see the woman's information.
