Personality

Owen is kind of a quite normal guy. He is nice with people who is nice to him and quite harsh to people he doesn't like that much. He's not specially cocky, even if sometimes he can't help it, he is a hormoned 16 years old guy after all. He's not a very good student, but he tries as hard as he can to be better, and in the subjects he is good, he is really good. He cares more about himself than others but is also the greatest friend you could find. He is a pretty good person even if he thinks he doesn't have anything special.

History

Owen was born in London on a rainy day. He was born to a muggle medium class family. They didn't have so much money, but they weren't poor either, he always had what he needed. And he or his parents didn't know he was a wizard till the day of his eleventh birthday the letter arrived. He had shown some special skills since he was a young boy, but noone could ever imagine it was magic.

His child life was pretty normal, he didn't have siblings, but he had a lot of friends he spent the days playing with, and their life seemed to be normal. But then the letter arrived and everything changed. His parents where proud of him but his friends started to fear him and soon he was left alone. His life in Hogwarts started with him being an introvert, but soon he started making friends, and he liked a lot of the subjects he had, so he didn't have any problem during his first three years. But when he was starting his fourth year, his father was diagnosed with cancer and a couple months after it, he died.

Owen stopped studying, so hiss grades went quite low, his friends were worried about him and everything seemed black in the kid's future, but after a year or so he started recovering a bit from the loss. And now, starting his 6th year, he's finally becoming again the kid he was when he started school.

Acceptance Letter Response

It was the morning of his birthday and Owen hadn't slept the night before. It was always that way, every year he got so excited about his birthday that he couldn't sleep at all.

So by seven in the morning he ran to the living room and jumped upon his parents, who happily desired him a happy birthday, and his mother went to make him his favourite breakfast while his father went to get the presents and he stayed watching the tv. Everything seemed normal, like it was every year. They had the same ritual every year.

He ate his breakfast fullmouthedly and opened his presents really excitedly. That year he got a play station, a few toy cars and a toy microscope. It was just what he wanted, but then suddenly they heard their post locker open and close. It was  strange time for getting post, but still Owen ran to the front door and took the only letter that was on the floor, walking back to the living room.

"It's for me" he said surprisedly and opened it, reading as fast as he could.

Dear Mr. Macaffe

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry...

He didn't finish reading, because the only reaction he could have was fainting.
