Owen would never fogive himself for breaking his wand during the summer break even if it was accidentally. Yes, he and his mother had to move from one flat to another, but he could never imagine that the damn wand would have fallen form the box it was in and end up under the boy's foot, cracking as he passed by. It was one f the best experiences in his life even if he was thankfull that he couldn't use magic utside of school yet.

Once he had to go to buy his new supplies the first place he went to was Ollivander's. He really felt incomplete without a wand. He walked to the counter and greeted the young woman who was there.

"Hello, I really need a new one. I broke my last one and I need one to start the new year at school" he mused and offered her the piece of parchment with his information written on it.

It was one of those days where everything was quiet as the summer was winding down and students were preparing themselves for school. Where they were too busy trying to do as many fun things as they could fit into a day to make sure they didn't miss anything. So she did her best to appreciate the quietness of her surroundings, but it only made her more aware of the fact that she was bored. She would give anything for someone to walk through the door...

Rowena stared at the door expectantly, waiting for the door to open as she thought it, but nothing happened. Her face fell into her hand and she rubbed it across forehead in irritation to stop herself from walking out that door and dragging someone inside just to have someone to talk to. An just as she was about to sit up someone answered her prays and walked straight toward her.

She perked up in her chair and smiled quickly. "Hello, welcome to Ollivanders!" she greeted in return, a little more enthusiastically then she should have. It was enough to even startle herself. "Ok, I'll see what I can do," she offered as she took the parchment he held out to her and looked it over. "I think I have something in mind," she grinned excitedly before slipping her flats back out and heading into her back room. She was a little disappointed that the conversation didn't actually go anywhere, but she wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. Not when she had been bored just a few minutes ago.

"Here we are..." she mumbled to herself before heading back to Owen Macaffe and setting the box on the counter for him to try out. Rowena removed the lid before taking a seat across from him. "Go ahead and see if it fits," she smiled as she waited for him to pick up the wand.
