Opening the door, Adeline sheepishly walked into the room, glancing around the shop, noticing how cozy it seemed surrounded by the other shops in Diagon Alley. And the whole interior matched the whole mood the area had going on. Walking up to the counter, she noticed no one up front and decided to just glance around patiently until someone came.

For some unfathomable reason the brunette had broken a third wand in her life. She might as well be learning wandless magic now instead of endangering another wand. Again. Glancing up to the woman at the counter, the brunette prepared herself to ask for a wand for what seemed to be the second time. "Uh hi there, you're Ms.Rowena Ollivander, correct?"

Rowena had been so immersed in what she was doing, polishing some of the older wands, that she hadn't realized that someone was looking straight at her. So when they called to her she couldn't prevent the jolt of surprise that shot through her or the fact that she very nearly lost her balance on her chair. With a yelp of surprise Rowena and quick reflexes she righted the chair before smiling at the woman across the counter sheepishly.

"That would most certainly be me," she laughed, her cheeks flushed from her near mishap. "An who might you be?" she asked curiously, only vaguely recognizing the girl. Though she was sure she would be able to place a wand to the name as soon as she had one. Her father had kept wonderfully accurate records of all the wands he had created and sold in his time.

(OOC: Sorry, I can't recall if I chose you wand last time -.-)

It wasn't until the brunette looked over the counter, that she saw someone polishing the what seemed to be older wands. When Adeline spoke up however, she felt bad for startling the older woman. "I'm a Adeline Maurice, you gave me a wand last year but I managed to break another one," she replied sheepishly. It was one thing break a wand yet it was a whole other ball park when you break your third one.

Glancing around the counter, she admired some of the wands on display. Each done with a certain craftsmanship that gave a trademark to the maker themselves. The scent of polish was quite strong but Adeline sensed something else. Something she couldn't quite place but had an unusual familarity in her mind.

Rowena mentally facepalmed at momentarily forgetting Adeline Maurice's name. It wasn't like her to be so absent minded. "Oh! How could I forget. Hello, Ms. Maurice, may I ask what happened to this one?" she asked curiously, surprised that it had happened again so soon after getting her last wand. It was unusual, but it had happened before and Rowena was always looking for new ways to improve the resilience of her wands. An what better way to do that then to figure how what could break them.

Even though she knew she couldn't make her wands unbreakable, they were made of wood after all, making them stronger was possible. It was something her father had started working on and after reviewing his notes she had started doing some research on her own. While she waited to hear what happened she started thinking about wands that could work for Adeline. With a third wand attempt she knew that this time was going to be a little more difficult to find suitable match. So she needed to narrow done the options as much as possible. "Hmm.." Rowena hummed softly as she started going through different wands that might work for the girl.

Adeline watched the other woman as recognition seem to spread across her face. It had taken them a good while last time to find the right wand. To this day she didn't know why it took forever. Although the only thing her first three wands had in common was that they all had mermaid hair in them. Which creeped the eighteen year old out but it wasn't like she'd admit that. "Uh..well a..werewolf kind of broke it," she replied hesitantly. It was a night of the full moon and Adeline had forgotten to put her wand away so that when she did transform she smashed it.

Watching the other woman, Adeline noticed Rowena begin to rummage through some wands as she hummed softly. She watched as the raven haired woman picked up wands, looked at them thoughtly and placed them back down. To this day she didn't know how wand makers knew what wands could work and what not. I mean sure they asked for certain information like the users height and birthday but if two people shared the same birthday and height, what then? Then again the chances of those two people having the same strengths and weakness would be rare.

Rowena continued to smile pleasantly at Adeline when she finally remembered just who the girl was. It was odd to think that she had just helped her one year earlier with getting a new wand and there they were all over again. That smile soon slipped away when Adeline explained what happened to her last wand. Werewolf. It wasn't a common reason for wands to be broken and certainly not with them surviving without a scratch, as far as Rowena could tell. She wasn't sure whether to laugh or flinch away with the images flying through her head. She couldn't help visualize both terrifying and amusing scenarios. Neither of which she was keen on sharing with the girl or woman across from her.

She hadn't the faintest clue how she could make a wand strong enough to be resistant to the strength of a werewolf, but if there was a way she would certainly look for it. Now she just needed to find something that would work for Adeline Maurice and hope the girl wouldn't have another run in with a werewolf that would put her new wand in jeopardy. After a few choices that she didn't like she finally found two wands that she was eager to have Adeline test out. "Here you are Ms. Maurice, let's try these two out first and see what happens," she offered, removing the tops off of each box and sliding them over the counter for her to choose which to try out first.
