Amber had finally received her dream job, and which it came a lot of changes. She had decided that she needed to start fresh, and become the person that she wanted to be. She was on the hunt for a new home, and had already donated her old clothes to buy new ones. Now it was time for the last thing on the list to be replaced. Her wand.

The wand that she had grown up with had done her plenty of good, but she felt that it was time to get a new one. She was rarely half hearted, so when she chose that a fresh start was what she wanted, then everything would be fresh and new. That is how she found herself at the Leaky Cauldron, on her way to the wandshop.

As she stepped out onto Diagon Alley, Amber couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. The street was bright and bustling as it always was and it still had that feeling. Like it was the gateway to the Hogwarts journey, and even though her own was complete, Amber still felt giddy. Perhaps because it was now the gateway to her life journey. Come on Amber, you're sounding far too corny, she though as she walked down the street.

Amber entered Ollivander's and looked around. It was just as pleasant as she remembered, but she couldn't see anyone. She was thankful that she had arrived at what seemed to be a quiet time, but she wondered if that also meant that the shopkeep would be on a break.

"Hello?" Amber called out as she approached the counter. She still couldn't see anyone, but she noticed a stack of papers on the surface. There seemed to be a questionnaire printed on them, so she pulled one toward herself. "Hello?" She called out again as she began to fill in the form.
